Tino Jochimsen

is one of my heroes, if only because he wrote and co-wrote Jeremiah Johnson and The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, two of my all-time favorite westerns.

The man is obviously mad as a hatter but charmingly so. He also co-scripted Apocalypse Now which places him somewhat beyond reproach, at least in terms of screenwriting.
