The diversity of the Arrow Season 5 cast has made it one of the show's best yet. To help you get acquainted with the new talent, check out our frequently updated list below, which includes every cast member — new and old — who stars in Season 5.
New Arrow Cast Members In Season 5
— Josh Segarra: Chicago P.D. star Segarra joins the Arrow cast in Season 5, playing Adrian Chase, a new character who helps Oliver while keeping secrets of his own. The American actor previously starred on another TV show called Sirens and also originated the role of Emilio Estefan in the Broadway musical On Your Feet!

— Rick Gonzalez: Gonzalez joins the cast this season as Rene Ramirez, one of the new heroes that Oliver takes under his wing. Best known for his role as Timo Cruz in the film Coach Carter, Gonzalez has also appeared on the CW before on the supernatural drama Reaper.
— Juliana Harkavy: Harkavy is no stranger to genre TV. After appearing in a guest spot on Constantine and starring as Alisha in Season 4 of The Walking Dead, the American actress has now joined Arrow in a recurring role as Dinah Drake, otherwise known as the new Black Canary.
— Lexa Doig: Canadian actress Lexa Doig has taken a number of sci-fi/horror parts prior to her time on Arrow, including the title role in TV's Andromeda and the female lead in Jason X. After starring briefly on Smallville as Dr. Christina Lamell in Season 10, Doig has now been cast on Arrow as Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Ra's al Ghul and the half-sister of Nyssa al Ghul. You might also be surprised to learn that Doig is married to actor Michael Shanks, who just so happened to portray Hawkman on Smallville too. The superhero TV world is getting smaller and smaller by the day.
— Chad L. Coleman: The Walking Dead star Coleman impressed genre fans once again as the villain Tobias Church in Season 5 of Arrow. Before he made a name for himself taking down walkers, Coleman rose to fame in the HBO crime drama The Wire and voiced the character Coach in the popular zombie video game Left 4 Dead 2.
— Tyler Ritter: It's no surprise that the son of the late John Ritter would follow in his father's footsteps and turn to acting. In the first half of Season 5, Ritter took a recurring role as Detective Malone, a new addition to the Star City Police Department who also dated Felicity Smoak. Alongside a starring role in the TV show The McCarthy's, Ritter has appeared in a number of shows including Grey's Anatomy and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
— Carly Pope: Pope plays a journalist called Susan Williams who's out to make a name for herself in Star City, taking an unusual interest in Oliver Queen. The Canadian actress has had a number of TV roles in the past, including a recurring part on the high school drama Popular.
— Joe Dinicol: After taking recurring roles in Blindspot and Grey's Anatomy, Dinicol joined the Arrow Season 5 cast as Rory Regan (Ragman), a character who has roots in the mystical side of the Arrowverse.

— Wil Traval: After taking a pivotal role in Marvel's Jessica Jones series as Will Simpson, Traval has clearly developed a taste for comic book shenanigans. Travel took a guest role in the first half of Arrow's fifth season, playing Christopher Chance, a character more widely known as Human Target by superhero fans.
— David Meunier: Meunier is no stranger to genre TV, playing Johnny Crowder on the show Justified alongside roles in series such as Revolution and Jericho. For his next part, Meunier joined the Arrow Season 5 cast as Ishmael Gregor, a Russian immigrant who became a Mob boss in the comics.
— Dolph Lundgren: The former Punisher and all round badass action star Dolph Lundgren has taken a part in Arrow Season 5, playing the villainous role of Konstantin Kovar. Lundgren became famous for starring in action films such as Rocky IV and Universal Soldier, but has recently had a Hollywood comeback in The Expendables franchise.
