Note: This post contains spoilers for Arrow Season 5.

, also known as , has crossed many lines as the Season 5 villain of Arrow. As with Damien Darhk in Season 4, not much has been off-limits. And in Season 5, Episode 20, titled "Underneath," Prometheus followed in Darhk's footsteps and found Oliver's son, William. But this season's nemesis has proven that he doesn't have the family connection that Darhk did, which puts William in grave danger.

Last season, Damien Darhk took Oliver's son captive, but Darhk had a child as well, and no one really believed William was going to die. Yes, Darhk used the boy as a means to an end, but he backed off when his own daughter was threatened. Chase, on the other hand, has not exhibited any ability for love or compassion as evidenced by the coldblooded murder of his own wife.

Chase won't allow anyone to have the upper hand, nor will he allow anyone to be used as leverage against him. That's why Doris had to die. As Chase told Oliver, he is always 10 steps ahead, which is why it isn't surprising that he was able to locate William even without the information that he had at his fingertips as the District Attorney.

Executive producer Wendy Mericle already warned viewers that there was much more to come with Prometheus in the Season 5 finale, telling Entertainment Weekly:

"Chase has been trying to prove to the world and to Oliver that he's not a hero, he's a killer, and he's going to pull out one final, big whamo at the end that's going to leave Oliver reeling. We might lose some people."

What else could leave Oliver reeling more than the death of his son? Unfortunately, it looks like young William could be in far more danger than he ever was with Damien Darhk.

Do you think Oliver's son will die in the season finale?
