In the lead up to the mid-season premiere of AMC's The Walking Dead:Daryl Dixon actor Norman Reedus took to Twitter to answer fan questions. Read the Q&A below - and find out what Daryl would do if he ever lost his crossbow.

Question: What was it like to film the first episode of the walking dead? Were you nervous?

Norman Reedus: Soooo nervous. I came in on 3 so there was already a family thing happening. It was exciting.

Question: What has been one of your most favorite scenes to film? Ever.

Norman Reedus: GUT BAG that was fun. Andy & I cutting open a walker looking for Sophia’s bones was pretty disgusting.

Question: What was the most challenging Walking Dead episode or season?

Norman Reedus: This season. Killing merle and the last season was tough. The one before the one you are watching now.

Question: List Daryl’s TOP 5 Things he misses from life before the apocalypse.

Norman Reedus: Beer, Walmart, parking lot parties , dive bars, cartoons.

Question: What would you have done about the governor if you were in Rick’s shoes?

Norman Reedus: Attacked him in the middle of the night. Shut him down.

Question: If Darryl ever lost his handy crossbow, would he make the transition to a compound bow?

Norman Reedus: I think he would. Once a bowman always a bowman I’d imagine.

Question: Did you ever consider not taking on the role of Daryl? And what made you say yes?

Norman Reedus: Are you kidding, no way… if they wanted me in a dress I’d a played it in a dress. I love this show, this crew this job.

Question: What do you and Daryl Dixon have in common?

Norman Reedus: We are both honest . We mean what say. We’re both loyal. Both a little confused.

Question: What’s your favorite kind of motorcycle?

Norman Reedus: Jack Pine I have now is my favorite. But I like a lot of different ones.

Question: Do you ever listen to a certain song to prepare you for filming an intense scene?

Norman Reedus: A lot of Motorhead. Sadder songs for sadder days tho… there’s a Mascis song on “Several Shades of Why” I listened to a lot for an upcoming episode.

Question: “If you didn´t become an actor, what kind of job would you like to do?

Norman Reedus: I wouldn’t have minded doing what I was already doing. When I was younger I wanted to be a marine biologist.

Question: If you had the possibility to work with a deceased actor,which actor would it be?

Norman Reedus: River.

Question: Which season do you think was the nicest to record?

Norman Reedus: This last one.
