Good news for the otaku and somewhat less-obsessed anime fans: Attack On Titan's official manga website has announced that a live-action film based on Hajime Isayama's immensely popular manga is in development, and set for release in 2015.

Comic Book Movie reports that story board artist will direct the feature which is aiming to start filming in 2014. , writer of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods is writing the script for the film.

Attack on Titan was launched in 2009 and has sold almost 16 million copies in 2013 alone, making it the second highest-selling manga of all time. The film will be produced by TOHO, and casting is currently under way, so be on the look out for more news!
