might be a big name in superhero movies, but that doesn't mean he reads a whole lot of comics. Which can mean red faces all round when you're being paid megabucks to star in a Marvel film and you're not familiar with one of the central characters.

When MTV News’ Josh Horowitz asked if he knew what Ultron was he said 'I haven't had to look into it and understand it yet...With all honesty, I have no idea.'

Let's face it – the cast didn't even know the film's title until it was revealed this past July at San Diego Comic-Con. Luckily, Hemsworth had more to say about Emmy-award winning thesp , who has signed on to play the villainous Ultron.

'He's great,' Hemsworth gushed, 'He's awesome,' before undoing his good work and admitting he hasn't actually, y'know, met him yet, but still.

Is MTV giving their interviewees truth serum or something?

It sounds like it's out of sight, out of mind for Hemsworth with The Avengers: Age Of Ultron sounding very far away from his schedule.

"The whole Avengers thing is now starting to come up in conversations and I'm like, 'God, I've still got another film to shoot and 'Thor 2' hasn't even come out yet. This ['Ultron'] script's not even written yet. I know [screenwriter] Joss [Whedon] is [writing it now]."
