We pick up from last weeks events where Caleb discovered the body of Norma and was knocked unconscious by Norman — ahem, I mean Mother. Now handcuffed to a pole, Caleb wakes up and sees Norma — or so he thinks. Clearly, still a little dazed from his head injury, Caleb believes he is talking to Norma; he can clearly hear her voice until it appears to be Norman.

Caleb tells Mother that he came back to the Bates residence to tell Norma about Dylan and Emma's baby daughter, Katherine. Mother expresses that she wish she could see her. She then leaves Caleb locked in the basement. I would also like to take a moment to say that playing Norman playing Norma is incredibly captivating and insane at the same time. He completely nails Vera Farmiga's mannerisms. Get this boy an Emmy already!

2. Romero Escapes

While being escorted by two officers to a new prison, Romero claims that he is in need of a bathroom break. With one officer being held up waiting for coffee, the other is being held at gunpoint! Romero attacks the officer in the bathroom and manages to get ahold of his gun. Romero then finds a getaway car with an unwilling driver and off he goes. Where to, we ask? Well, to avenge the murder of his wife.

3. A Terrible Childhood

Caleb has a dream of a time where he and Norma were little. In the dream, the angry and loud voice of their father can be heard. Frightened, Norma and Caleb comfort one another. Caleb is then woken up by Chick, who is now caught up in the Bates drama, aware of the extent of Normans insanity and is now living in the house to care for Norman.

He goes to talk with Caleb, wanting to know more about he and Norma's past. Caleb tells him that their mother was very depressed and crazy. She would lock Norma and Caleb in their rooms for days with no food and no bathroom. Norma was all he had, until she ran off with the man that fathered Norman. She only contacted Caleb when Dylan and Norman were born. Tissues anyone?

4. Is This The End For Romero?

After abandoning the original driver, Romero's getaway car gets a flat tire. Romero pushes the car into a ditch and decides to walk the rest of the way. Night falls, and he finds himself at a farmhouse where he finds another car — success! However, he get's a rude awakening when the owner's daughter appears with a loaded shotgun pointed straight at him. Romero tries to diffuse the situation but the girl accidentally pulls the trigger. Romero is clearly wounded. How the heck is he going to exact revenge on Norman now?

5. Caleb Dies

Fast, aim true, right through the brain! While Chick is out grocery shopping, Mother convinces Norman that he must kill Caleb because he knows too much. Norman heads down to the basement and points the gun straight at Caleb's head — plot twist! Instead of shooting him, Norman uncuffs Caleb and tells him to leave, but Caleb cries that he has nowhere to go. Norman snaps and shoots a round off in the air to scare Caleb off.

As Caleb runs out of the house, Mother suddenly appears, takes the gun from Norman and begins to shoot at Caleb. Chick is seen driving towards the house but is distracted by a text. Caleb runs onto the road and collides with the car. He dies instantly.

Whoa indeed! I think we all knew Caleb wasn't going to make it out alive, but who saw him going out like that? That's for ya — always ready to shock and leave its audience in . How will Romero make it back to the Bates household? What will happen to Caleb's body? and once again — where the hell is Rihanna?!
