The joys of being a superhero actor and a parent probably mean that as soon as your kid finds out you're playing one of those caped dudes in the movies, you're condemned to donning the costume around the house forever — but not if you're Batman, apparently.
The latest actor to become the Caped Crusader, Ben Affleck, recently walked the red carpet to promote his new movie The Accountant, where E! News asked him a few questions about Halloween costume inspiration around the house. Turns out, Affleck's son isn't so eager to become the Dark Knight himself.

'Batman's Just My Dad'
Affleck admitted he wasn't going to try to influence his son's Halloween costume choice. In fact, his 4-year-old son's pretty much what you'd call blasé when it comes to his dad's job:
"My son told me a friend of his asked who his favorite superhero was, and he said his favorite superhero was Flash, and he goes 'What about Batman' and he goes 'Batman's just my dad' so he's kind of over it."
So, did young Affleck freak out at the Justice League trailer that came out at this year's Comic-Con? Seeing Dad actually talk to the Flash must have been quite the electric shock.
Earlier this year, Bat-dad had already revealed he wasn't trying to hide his current character around the house, although that had one weird consequence on his son:
"He knows that I am Batman. It's a mixed blessing. He also thinks that for some reason — I don't know if it's the color combination or whatever — that the FedEx guy is the Joker."
Isn't that adorable!
