After having left their mark on the western with the surprisingly touching and successful True Grit, the Coen Brothers' new tragicomedy Inside Llewyn Davis, set in the folk music scene of the New York in the 60s, is filming right now. According to the setting you simply can't circumnavigate the fact that facial hair was a constant companion. Which means that most of the (pretty awesome cast) is covered in face.fur of varying degrees.

Oscar Isaacs (Drive) who plays the title role of the unsuccessful and prick-ish folksinger, gives us a trimmed yet fully realized artist beard.

Justin Timberlake follows suit. His beard is lighter in tone, yet similar in composure. The only beardless cast member is Carey Mulligan, which isn't surprising, given how beautiful her face is (take that Timberlake!).
