Not content with a reboot of Gremlins, the movie Gods are now hungry for a sequel to Beetlejuice? Director is still negotiating the finer points of the project - such as whether it'll happen or not - but it looks more likely than not that Beetlejuice 2 will go ahead.

Burton says:

I don’t know if I would ever know a good script if it bit me in the face. But, I know what I like, so we’ll see.

It'd be in charge of producing a script good enough to bite Tim Burton in the face, and he seems appropriately dedicated to preserving the purity of the original movie in any Beetlejuice 2:

The only way we’d do it if we got Tim's blessing and involvement, and we got that, and the star of the movie has to be as Beetlejuice, and it’s a true continuation 26 years later. Not just throwing him in as a cameo going, ‘Hey, it’s me. I endorse this movie.'

A lot of Burton fans are gonna feel conflicted about a Beetlejuice 2, but at least Tim Burton and Michael Keaton would be involved, and Seth Grahame-Smith seems to have Beetlejuice's best interests at heart. What do you think? Could you chug another helping of Beetlejuice or should they leave that sequel well alone?
