It's not uncommon for celebrities to support philanthropic causes: Leo crusades for the environment, Ashton Kutcher advocates for victims of sex trafficking, Shailene Woodley protests the Dakota Access Pipeline, and the list goes on. Now, a new is joining the ranks of these talented Hollywood do-gooders: .

While we've all been waiting with baited breath for him to move forward with The Derek Zoolander School for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Want to Do Other Stuff Good Too, Ben Still has actually been busy tweeting up a storm to raise awareness and cold hard cash for the millions of people suffering from the crippling famine in Somalia.

After putting out a call to action on Twitter, Stiller managed to raise over $1 million dollars in 24 hours. They used the money to buy 60 tons of food that will be sent to Somalia on a plane from Turkish Airlines, the only airline currently flying in and out of the famine-stricken nation. The campaign has continued to gather steam, and they've now raised a whopping $2 million! And it's not over yet.

Jerome Jarre and Colin Kapernick also got involved, reaching out to their enormous fanbases to spread the word. In his latest video, Stiller nominated four more celebrities to get involved: Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Beauty and the Beast star Emma Watson, model and actress Cara Delevingne, and all-around goddess Alyssa Milano. He also encouraged everyone who already donated to nominate three of their friends, too!

Just today, Milano followed through, making a donation and a video to nominate three more people to do the same. Let's hope they can keep this going!
