Whether you loved it or hated it, there's no denying that The Walking Dead Season 7 had viewers somewhat divided. The hit series came under fire last year for many reasons and fans took to social media to voice their concerns, commenting on a wide range of issues, including the controversial storytelling method, the extensive violence, the continuity errors and the questionable CGI. To be fair, that deer was pretty bad.

The eighth season of premiered this Sunday and, as expected, viewers could hardly wait to tell us exactly what they thought about the jaw-dropping episode. After a slow seventh season, fans of were hoping that Season 8 would pick up the pace and we can confirm that their wish was granted in tonight's episode. The season premiere was full of action and delivered in every way possible, leaving many social media users in shock. Being the good Samaritan that he is, Father Gabriel decided to risk his life to save Gregory from flesh-eating zombies. As it's the 100th episode of The Walking Dead, we were fully expecting there to be a lot of epic moments, but it appears that the flash forward sequences featuring a much older Rick sent the internet into somewhat of a meltdown. Well, it appears that the 100th episode of The Walking Dead went down a hit with fans of the AMC series.
