Whether you love or hate award ceremonies, let it be known that the is not just any old plain ceremony. The annual is an opportunity for moviegoers worldwide to come together in appreciation for the years greatest offerings in cinema and, you have to admit, that the past year was definitely one of the greatest for film yet. Whether you were a fan of the musicality of or the female empowerment seen in , the past year has had something for everyone and tonight's award ceremony was saw them all get the appreciation they deserve.

However, it wasn't just the actors, actresses, directors, screenwriters or composers that deserve to be awarded — tonight, the fans have proven that their opinion's are just as worthy of an award.

As another ceremony comes to an end, the 2017 edition of the Oscars will certainly go down in history.
