One of our favorite celebrity couples is apparently no longer. An inside source confirmed to People that actress Billie Lourd and actor Taylor Lautner have split up after eight months together.

The Scream Queens costars began dating just before Lourd lost her mother Carrie Fisher and grandmother Debbie Reynolds. After their deaths, stayed quiet on social media, but it was clear that her relationship with had grown. Lautner shared very sweet sentiments regarding Lourd's strength and how he felt lucky having the opportunity to be with her.

Just recently, Carrie Fisher's brother and Billie's uncle shared his praise for his niece's beau and how much support he provided after the tragic passings of two family members, telling E! News, "He's stepped up and acted like a husband would act."

Lautner was seen partying in Malibu for the Fourth of July holiday without Lourd, which led to speculation ahead of the official announcement. The pair haven't shared any pictures together for over a month, which they often did while spending time together. Posts of them still remain on Lautner's Instagram, but any evidence of their relationship has disappeared on Lourd's at last check.

According to People's source however, the two went through an amicable split, as they are remaining friends.

Billie is said to be very focused on her work right now, which could have had a factor in the couple's decision to go their separate ways. Lourd's latest project includes a role in the upcoming seventh season of American Horror Story. Losing multiple loved ones within a span of days is difficult enough, so hopefully Lourd can find some solace in her career.

There is no doubt that the relationship with Lautner was meaningful, enough that they can remain friends, and we wish the two the best.
