Within the past few years, I've heard way more about than of The Blair Witch Project fame. After all, Sanchez went on to direct the slow building Lovely Molly and a segment in V/H/S/2. Still, Myrick has continued to stay within the horror genre, directing a horror film set in Afghanistan called The Objective. Now, according to THR, the writer/director has sold a creepy stalker film to Radar Pictures.
The film is "based on a true story" and is about a man who lives underneath a woman's bed, manipulates her life, and then reveals himself. I don't know if it's really a true story, but I can safely say that it sounds like that really bad movie, The Resident.
Radar's most recent film were Riddick and Spring Breakers. As with both of those movies, they'll handle the domestic rights but won't be handling the overseas distribution. Is this something you guys would be interested in? There hasn't been any cast announcements yet, but I'll keep you posted.
Here's the trailer for Myrick's last movie, The Objective:
