On the night of Sunday, October 2, Kim Kardashian West was bound and gagged in her private Paris apartment while five villains dressed as police officers robbed her of nearly $10 million in jewelry.

Other than Kanye West abruptly ending his New York show early and Kris and Kendall Jenner immediately departing from Paris, the entire family has remained uncharacteristically mum on social media. Nevertheless, more details of the crime have come to light since the incident.

The Details Of The Attack

According to TMZ, the reality star was lying in bed in her private Paris apartment while her bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, watched over sisters Kourtney and Kendall as they partied less than two miles away at Arc nightclub. Apparently, the ruffians managed to handcuff the doorman of the building and convince him to point out Kardashian West's apartment. The star heard the men force their way into the apartment, and tried to dial Duvier's number on her cell phone, but was unable to complete the call before the robbers snatched her phone away.

Next, they bound her hands and feet with zip ties, and gagged her with duct tape before dumping her in the marble bath tub. According to the Daily Mail, Kardashian West feared she would be raped, and begged the criminals not to hurt her because she had children at home. A source told People:

"[Kim] was tied up, and gagged with duct tape wrapped around her head. They put plastic ties around her wrists but she managed to squeeze her hands out of the wrist ties by wriggling her hands."

When she finally managed to escape, she called for help from the balcony. Her friend, Simone Harouche, a former stylist for the Kardashian-Jenners, heard her cries and managed to reach both Duvier and the police. The anonymous source continued:

"[Kim] was hysterical but not screaming as she knew she had to keep quiet to survive. The reports of her fear of being raped are real. She really did think she was going to be raped. She had a gun to her head the whole time."

Kris Jenner Gives A Thumbs Up

As she was leaving Paris on Monday morning, Kris Jenner was surrounded by the customary hordes of paparazzi. One pap shouted to her, asking how Kim was faring in the morning following her ordeal, and Jenner responded with a simple thumbs up in the air, and continued getting into her car. Kendall and Kourtney were also seen leaving Paris that same day.

Kris Jenner's seemingly nonchalant attitude in this particular clip has led some gossipers to theorize that the entire incident was a hoax, orchestrated by Kris. Of course, no real evidence has appeared that supports any of those claims.

Kanye Is Furious

As for Kanye, a source described his reaction to his wife's assault as "furious":

"He feels like she was terrorized. It’s not just that she was robbed; it’s that she was put into a position where she begged for her life, thought she was going to be raped. She was brutalized and manhandled."

Pascal Duvier Wants Revenge

While many Kim fans have questioned the loyalty and reliability of her long-time body guard Pascal Duvier, a source for Us Weekly was quick to assure us that Kim holds no ill will toward him whatsoever:

"Pascal was with Kourtney and Kendall at L'Arc Nightclub. Kim felt safe at the apartment by herself. Kim is not blaming Pascal. She felt completely safe at the Paris apartment and doesn't believe this is his fault in any way."

As for Duvier, he will be massively increasing the security around Kardashian West, and he has a message for the men that instigated the attack (and anyone that might try to harm his client in the future). He told the Daily Mail:

"The events that occurred in Paris was one of the most sickening things I have seen or heard. We have tips and leads and we will find you. That I promise messed with the wrong one."

Kim Kardashian West has yet to make a formal statement following the attack.
