Here's an usual movie announcement for you, Warner Bros. and WWE Studios have teamed up to deliver an animated Flintstones movie.
According to Latino Review, Vince McMagma (Vince McMahon) and a whole host of WWE stars including John Cena and CM Punkrock will take part in the project.
Michael Luisi, the President of WWE Studios announced:
WWE is family-friendly entertainment, so partnering with Warner Bros. on a Flintstones/WWE project was a natural extension of our Scooby Doo deal. This new, animated feature allows us to showcase our brand with young fans and loyal Flintstones enthusiasts alike.
Yeah, I don't know about you, but my family loved to whack each other with fold-able steel chairs.
Jeff Brown of Warner Bros. added his own corporate babble:
Warner Bros. is thrilled to continue our partnership with WWE Studios as we begin production of the latest Flintstones animated feature. Our recent production collaborations have proven successful and we have the utmost confidence that the latest tag team between the WWE Superstars and The Flintstones will deliver the same results.
Don't expect to see The Flintstones in any theaters though. The animated movie will be distributed by WB on Blu-Ray, DVD and VOD in 2015.
What do you think? Are you happy WWE are reviving these old classics, or should they stick to showing sweaty men throwing each other around? Give me your insight below.
