Call them what you like: figurines, collectibles, artifacts of historical and cultural importance, but we all know what they really are. That's right, they're toys. Children's toys. Captain America: The Winter Soldier has just released a bunch of pictures showing some of the movie tie-in merchandise you can buy and then totally leave in mint condition in the box.

Take a look at the following figurines (read: toys) put on display at Hasbro's NYCC party:

Perhaps the most interesting figure (and the one which looks most fun to play with) is the S.H.I.E.L.D. robot armed to the teeth with munitions and blade things. Now, just because a toy exists it doesn't necessarily mean we'll see these guys in the movie, but it is slightly indicative.
