Todd Fisher, brother to #CarrieFisher and son of #DebbieReynolds, has revealed plans to hold a fan service for his mother and sister. The inseparable pair, having both suddenly died last December within days of one another, were laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on January 6th. Carrie, being her truest self to the very end, was laid to rest with her mother in an urn shaped like a Prozac pill. But now fans will finally be getting the opportunity to bid them both a fond farewell.
The mother and daughter duo were both icons of the silver screen and, as such, will have a tribute befitting that status. In keeping with Reynolds' wishes, the memorial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the Freedom Theater in Los Angeles, California. Fans are encouraged to come and pay their respects to the beloved actresses.
“The public is invited because that’s how my mother would want it,” Todd Fisher said. "She was very connected to her fans and felt they were a part of her, so we’re opening it to the public.”

The service was organized by Todd Fisher and his wife, Catherine. The Fisher family's website provided the details about what fans can expect should they decide to attend the event.
“We will be celebrating their lives with friends, family members, and the people who loved them, you. The service will begin at 1:00 pm and immediately afterwards, those who want to walk to their final resting place are welcome to do so. There are a limited number of seats available, and it will be on a first come first come, first seated basis. There will be room for overflow in the huge lobby as well as the outside with screens to watch and hear the service.”
