Ever since it launched in 1992, Cartoon Network has aired some of the best animated shows for both children and adults, including My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Samurai Jack, and Courage the Cowardly Dog. Now, Cartoon Network has announced what we can expect to see for the 2017-18 season, which includes 6 new shows and seven returning favorites. Not content to sticking to your television screen, Cartoon Network will also be releasing a whopping 20 original games for your mobiles and consoles!

So let's take a look at what Cartoon Network will bringing to our screens soon.

The Newbies

1) Ben 10

The massively popular Ben 10 franchise returns to TV after multiple animated series and a few animated & live action movies. 10-year-old Ben Tennyson — along with his cousin Gwen and Grandpa Max — will use his trusty Omnitrix to the save the universe.

premieres on April 10, and a full line of toys based on the new show will start hitting shelves this year.

2) OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes

An endlessly optimistic boy, K.O., attempts to level up and be the best in a universe of heroes and evil foes. The show is inspired by the childhood of its creator, Ian Jones-Quartey.

3) Cloudy with A Chance of Meatballs

The 2009 film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs & its sequel have been turned into a mouth-watering television series. We're transported back to the high school years of Flint Lockwood, in this prequel that started airing earlier this month.

Also Debuting: Craig of the Creek, Summer Camp Island and Apple & Onion.

Returning Favs

1) Steven Universe

Just recently nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series in GLAAD Media Awards, will return with new adventures, more Gems, and more insights into the Gem Homeworld.

2) The Powerpuff Girls

The newly reimagined series of will return for a second season. The superhero sisters return to battle villains HIM and Mojo Jojo in some new action-packed episodes with new characters and specials.

3) Teen Titans Go!

! will return for its fourth season, which will see the series celebrate their 200th episode in a special two-part episode that will follow the Titans as they try to save the world. Also making an appearance will be the Tooth Fairy, who will try to take over the holidays from the Easter Bunny!

Also Returning: The Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time, Mighty Magiswords and We Bare Bears.

Not content with just having awesome viewing on our television screens, Cartoon Network will also be rolling out a bunch of gaming for out phones and consoles.

1) Steven Universe: Save The Light – An RPG game that will be a sequel to the 2015 mobile game, Attack the Light.

2) The Powerpuff Girls Lego Dimensions – The Powerpuff Girls will be heading into the Lego Dimensions world with a Team Pack (with Blossom and Bubbles minifigures) and a Fun Pack (with Buttercup). Players can fly around Townsville and see the sights from the show.

3) OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes – Arriving this year, this PC and console game will be set in the action-packed world of the upcoming series, OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes.

Also On Its Way - Ben 10: Up to Speed, Glitch Fixers — The Powerpuff Girls and Surely You Quest.

There is nothing better than the beginning of a new television season; we get our favorites back, and get introduced to some new shows.

Cartoon Network though seems to have a good grasp on what both kids and adults want in their animated shows, and looking at the full schedule & the new trailers, it looks like it is going to be another hit season for the network!
