Legends of Tomorrow has been killing it this season. The writing and acting on the show has been absolutely phenomenal. Part of the reason for this is because the writers have developed strong characters on both team Legends and team Doom. Episode 17 definitely feels a bit premature to end this. There's so many potential storylines left with the current dynamic of the show, but unfortunately, it must come to an end. I would love the Legion of Doom to win this battle. As evil as it may sound, I am on team Doom. Sadly, the odds of that happening are are pretty low.

In a recent interview, the Executive Producer of the show said that there will be "significant deaths" – plural, in the finale. I find this quite unfortunate, as I would love the current character dynamic on the show to continue on for at least another season. That being said, here's a list of the characters that are most likely to die in the finale:

1. Damien Darhk

I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY don't want this to happen, but I am very fearful that it will. is probably my favorite villain in the Arrowverse. Neal McDonough is absolutely hilarious and plays him so well. He is by far the character I least want killed off.

It may seem redundant to kill of someone who has already been killed (on Arrow), but remember that every villain currently in the Legion of Doom has been "killed off" at one point (Merlyn was thought to be dead in Arrow Season 1).

While I think this would be a huge mistake, this would be the most logical person to kill off. Laurel Lance (Katie Kassidy) is set to appear in the finale, and the trailer shows that Damien Darhk and Sara Lance get to have a big battle — one that has essentially been teased since the very first episode of the season. Sara Lance has been hunting for revenge on Darhk ever since he killed off her sister. Despite the fact that he is still integral to the timeline, the writers still might develop a way for Sara to get her revenge.

Personally, I've always wished that Damien Darhk would be the leader of the Legion of Doom. I mean, he is just so perfect for it, especially when he has his magic. Also, the fact that Sara Lance is the team leader of the Legends would make it great if her adversary in the Legion of Doom were someone that she has a very personal feud with. Who knows, maybe they won't end up killing him, and instead give him a more personal reason to get revenge on her.

2. Eobard Thawne

Let's be honest, was really the Big Bad of this season. Yes, he had partners, but he was always the guy in charge. He was the most powerful villain and the one who set the goals. In "Doomsworld," all of his "partners" wanted to kill him because they were so threatened by him. The group was relatively cohesive, except for him. He was always on a different level than everyone else and never really quite fit in.

He was also probably a little too powerful for this show. Literally none of the Legends could compete with him. Writing that in was probably pretty difficult. And besides, it's about time Thawne returns to The Flash. He helped make this season of amazing, but The Flash needs him back. Without a speedster villain for Season 4, and he is the perfect candidate. In fact, I think he might end up returning in the Season 3 finale.

While I do think Thawne may get a "pretend death" in the finale, he will most certainly not die permanently, especially considering how valuable he is to other Flarrowverse properties. If they do end up "killing" him off, it will probably be because The Flash needs him back pretty badly.

3. Mick Rory

They definitely won't kill him off completely. However, odds are pretty good that they will pretend kill him or have him pull a Leonard Snart to save the team. It would be unfortunate to see Mick leave the Legends for several reasons. The first is that they've finally developed a really compelling storyline for him. In Season 1, he was largely overshadowed by Leonard. After Leonard's "pretend death," we really got a chance to get to know Rory a lot better. He's actually pretty funny. I mean, the fact that he went seven episodes thinking that he was losing his mind seeing Snart, when in reality Snart was really there, was very amusing.

He has also found himself in a fascinating point at the end of the season. He is caught in the crossroads between team Legends and the Legion. That is a great storyline, and one that would be fantastic if they kept it going.

However, considering the fact that Dominic Purcell is working on a Prison Break sequel of sorts, the actor may want more time to focus on that instead of Legends. Who knows? But one thing's for sure — the odds are strong that he will "die" in the finale.

4. Nate Haywood

Yes, the quintessential Brad Pitt impersonator's character on Legends of Tomorrow may be in some trouble. I don't think anyone wants to see him go (I definitely don't think the actor does, either). Initially, served as the "Rip Hunter" of the show in Rip's absence. Now that Rip is back, it seems unnecessary to have two of them there. Personally, I like them both, but if the writers were looking to get rid of someone, he might be easier to get rid of. It could also serve as a twist, considering the fact that Amaya was recently killed in "Doomworld," perhaps he will sacrifice himself in order to ensure her survival.

It seems unlikely that they would kill Amaya off again, but we can't rule it out. We already know that it is her destiny to die. Since she was pulled from the timeline, there will be consequences to come. So, it's quite possible that they will kill her off for good this time.

6. Sara Lance

I almost put Ray Palmer here, but I've decided that it might be Sara's turn to pull a Rip. Perhaps they will temporarily kill her off so that Rip Hunter can take command of the Waiverider again and lead the team against whatever threat they will face again in Season 3.

The fans probably wouldn't want Sara to be killed off again, but it could be a way of preserving the Legion of Doom rivalry. Sara's "death" could work wonders for the plot of the show. That said, I don't think it is too likely they will kill her off again, but I still can't rule it out.
