Production on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is cranking up, whether it's viral marketing campaigns or teaser images at Comic-Con.

Now, these videos have been released which show a bunch of actors manically running around North Beach in San Fran, wearing motion capture costumes. Who are they? They're the apes, of course!

What do I think? It must be crazy good fun to do pretend-ape on some deserted streets...all the while knowing that, in distinct opposition, you won't look at all stupid in the film covered up in CGI as an ape!

Here's a synopsis for the sequel below:

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.

How does everyone feel about Dawn of the Planet of the Apes?
