The new international poster for director 's horror movie The Conjuring is going to give us all sorts of nightmares. Dolls (like clowns) are never okay in any situation, particularly when they involve dark basement corners and rocking chairs. The Conjuring is also the first movie in a very long time to receive an R-rating, only because it's reportedly that scary.

Here's the synopsis for The Conjuring, which is actually based on a true story:

Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, "The Conjuring" tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.

I'm really excited for this movie, especially after seeing embrace her genre chops in Orphan and TV's Hannibal.
