Oh, man, little axolotl. Already famous for being the happiest weird creature on the internet, you are going to gain even more fame for being a key player in the upcoming Errors of the Human Body.

The sci-fi thriller, directed by first-timer , revolves around the story of Dr. Geoff Burton (), a Canadian geneticist who, after his divorce, escapes to Germany to work with former colleague, Rebekka (), on a top-secret project to unlock a human regenerative gene. Tantalizingly close to a breakthrough, Burton discovers a conspiracy among his colleagues. But instead of politics, the scientist discovers a terrifying new virus that could wipe out humankind - and Geoff, who has not only become its first victim but the unknowing source.

We have an ominous new clip, courtesy of Indiwire, showing Geoff being introduced to Rebekka's miraculous breakthrough:

My one question is: Why are labs in sci-fi movies always shrouded in darkness? Do these giant corporations they work for not have enough money to pay the electricity bill?

Errors of the Human Body is currently in select theaters. And if it's not in a theater near you, don't worry, because it's pretty much everywhere else: Cable VOD, SundanceNOW, iTunes, Amazon Streaming, PS3 Playstation Unlimited, XBOX Zune, Google PLAY and YouTube.

Quick, to the internet mobile!
