Are American audiences more stupid than their international counterparts? In case you didn't hear the news, Korea's wants to cut 's latest dystopian sci-fi Snowpiercer for English-speaking audiences, because he thinks that we aren't sharp enough to understand it otherwise!

The new edit of the movie will give it more of an action-thriller vibe and many of the character developments will be cut from the version.

Well, not everyone's overly pleased about this decision and, in fact, Captain America's has something to say about it! (He also talks about his upcoming discussion-heavy directorial debut, Before We Go, which sounds an awful lot like Before Sunrise to me...)

Evans' reaction to the interviewer's "It f***ing sucks!" pretty much sums it up for me.

What do you think of Weinstein's decision to meddle with Joon-ho Bong's movie? Shouldn't we be raising the intelligence bar and just showing it as it was intended to be seen?
