I definitely have a lot of respect for the Child's Play franchise. Unlike Halloween, Friday the 13th, or Saw, it's taken its time to develop an ongoing storyline that hasn't been plagued by reimaginings or horror tropes. Its reinvented itself several times, all the while keeping Chucky's special blend of comedy and violence. That was especially the case with the sixth entry, Curse Of Chucky, which managed to connect itself with the five previous installments. The only thing that seemed to confuse people was Alice's fate. , the creator of the franchise, noticed the confusion and wrote this on Twitter:

I'm totally down for this, especially if comes back. No word on when the film will be made or if Universal is interested, but it definitely means Mancini is working on the script.

Would you guys watch Part 7? Let me know below and on Twitter
