Game of Thrones is coming, with all the irrevocable certainty of a horde of White Walkers. Luckily for those of us champing at the bit for another taste of HBO's hit series, director shared a rare set photo from Game of Thrones Season 4.
Serving the snap via Empire, Marshall (who found fame with brit horrors Dog Soldiers and The Descent) offered a sneaky glimpse of episode 9, 'Castle Black'.
Anything giving you clues here? See the spoiler panel below for our theory.
The pic shows a big gang of guys and comes late in the season, so we're pretty sure that this pic is for the Battle at the Wall, where the Night's Watch has to defend the realm from a wildling invasion led by Mance Rayder, the King-Beyond-the-Wall.
Marshall directed 'Blackwater', the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones Season 2, so we know that he can bring the ruckus. Let's hope that he succeeds at bringing the epic fantasy action to life for a second time. Game of Thrones Season 4 will air early in 2014, when the most addictive theme tune ever shall return. Dum DUM! Duh-duh-duh DUM. Duh-duh-duh...
