recently took to Twitter to give us an update on his highly anticipated franchise sequel, Jurassic World. The director Tweeted:

For those of you unfamiliar with the name, John Schwartzman is the cinematographic mastermind behind many a big budget blockbuster. He brought you such titles as The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, National Treasure: Book of Secrets and The Amazing Spider-Man. OK, so there's a lot of in there, but given his résumé, Jurassic World seems like a natural addition.

What is relatively interesting is that it appears Jurassic World will not be shot in 3D but will instead receive a post-conversion.

Jurassic World arrives in theaters on June 12th, 2015.

What do you think? Do you have confidence that Colin Trevorrow can match the quality of the original Jurassic Park movies? Drop your opinion below.
