As the summer approaches, it's almost time to say goodbye to our favorite shows until the fall. However, not only are waiting in excitement for our favorites to return, we're also preparing for the new shows that will be hitting our screens later this year — especially after the amount of hit series that were given the axe last week.
The CW's fall schedule is packed with favorites such as The Flash, Supergirl and Riverdale, but the network is also planning to launch several brand new shows. With Black Lightning on the way, the network will have a DC series each night of the week.
As for non-superhero shows, we don't need to wait until the fall for our first look at Dynasty, Valor or First Sentence as The CW's has unveiled a first look trailer for each of the upcoming shows. Check out the new trailers below:
Based on the fabulously fierce '80s series starring Joan Collins, The CW's Dynasty is a reboot of the long running soap and features just as much dirty, sexy backstabbing as the original series with a modern twist to give it that fresh Empire vibe. According to The CW president Mark Pedowitz, picking up Dynasty was a "no-brainer."
Lucy Hale stars in this new comedy drama about a young woman named Stella who has been terminally ill for over eight years, only to discover that she's been miraculously cured. With some serious Chasing Life vibes, the series will follow Stella's journey as she adjusts to living the rest of her life — free from the shackles of cancer — as she figures out what comes next for her.
Valor follows a group of helicopter pilots from a U.S Army Base after a mission goes awry and only two pilots manage to return home safely. The series will deal with the pilots' personal struggles as they cover up what really happened on that fateful night.
