Laughs might come few and far between on The Walking Dead, but fans of the hit AMC series have a reason to smile, thanks to Adult Swim's Robot Chicken.

The long-running comedy series will be airing a special The Walking Dead-themed parody titled The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking. The voices featured in the episode will sound familiar, as most of the actual TWD stars lent their vocals — but you may also recognize another surprising voice: Daniel Radcliffe.

As we saw from the San Diego Comic-Con trailer, is going all-out with its super-sized special, even including a few musical tunes. One featured performance centers around the group at Terminus led by Gareth — but a problem arose while planning the skit: actor Andrew J. West (who played Gareth) doesn't sing.

So Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Breckin Meyer found another candidate in star Daniel Radcliffe.

Radcliffe's involvement wasn't the only surprise; the crew admitted that seemingly had the most fun while recording his lines for the special. Lincoln takes his portrayal as Rick Grimes very seriously, even staying in character between takes, but it sounds like he let loose while performing the absurd scenes that Robot Chicken had in store. Green spoke to Yahoo Entertainment about Lincoln's switch to a comedic Rick Grimes:

“I watched Andrew Lincoln having what I thought was the best time ever. Because Rick Grimes is an incredibly serious character, and the work that Andy’s done on the show is unparalleled. He’s such an incredible dramatic actor, and the range of emotion that he’s covered over the course of the show, it’s just unbelievable. And so him bringing that same commitment and intensity for a comedic version of Rick Grimes was nuts. And he’s so good at it, he’s just throwing himself into this stuff, punching himself in the chest, and really doing the physicality as he’s recording. Like Rick pitching names for their group… the seriousness with which he did it, it’s the same as, you know, him defining the new laws of Alexandria.”

Lincoln won't be the only one spoofing his own character. A slew of cast members, past and present, will be featured in the episode. The long list includes Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Sarah Wayne Callies, Jon Bernthal, Lennie James, Steven Yeun, Scott Wilson, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Michael Rooker and Josh McDermitt.

Chandler Riggs will also be voicing two versions of his character. The episode will begin inside a Walking Dead museum; the series regular Nerd runs into Old Man Carl, who tells him the true story of the apocalypse. A story that involves a Negan musical performance, walkers, and Snoopy? Count us in!

The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking premieres on Adult Swim on October 8th. The Walking Dead returns October 22nd on AMC.
