The buzz for Horns, the next quirky project by , is quietly growing. The dark, horror-revenge tale has started releasing some images and clips in the lead-up to the U.S. release of the film, a date yet to be officially nailed down. It's both bizarre and fantastic to hear Radcliffe speaking with a fairly great American accent, no? Like the wrong voice is somehow coming out of his mouth.

If you're not familiar with the plot, Horns tells the tale of the aforementioned Ig Parrish, who awakens a year after his girlfriend Merrin's () brutal, unsolved murder, to find he's sprouted a pair of horns on his head that give him the ability to hear people's thoughts and also bring out the worst impulses in them. As Ig grows used to his new powers, he uses them in an increasingly desperate attempt to figure out who murdered Merrin.

Fun fact: Horns is the screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by author , who has a fairly famous dad you might know as . It appears the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

In the meantime, the film is debuting at TIFF, and we should be hearing news soon about it being a limited or wide release in the U.S.
