The Walking Dead returned with a bang last week with its mid-season premiere that got all fans back on board right before all the awesomeness unfolds. The next episode, titled "New Best Friends," fixes the main problem with the first half of Season 7 by combining two different story arcs into one episode.

One part of the episode will focus on Rick and his group's encounter with the strangers we met at the end of last week's episode while the other part of the episode will focus on the Kingdom. A new clip from this week's episode shows us what Daryl is up to and that he receives a brand new crossbow.

Released exclusively by ComicBook.com, we see Richard and Daryl having a conversation while Richard is shooting a bow and arrow. He explains to Daryl that he's using a bow because the Saviors will suspect a gun but not a bow. Then, he gives Daryl something we have been waiting for him to receive ever since Dwight stole it from him in Season 6: A new crossbow.

Daryl accepts the crossbow and Richard makes it blatantly obvious that he is ready to go to war with the Saviors and that they have to begin training now. We should expect Daryl to work with Richard and both of them will be key players in convincing King Ezekiel to declare a war against the Saviors.

Also in this episode, we should expect to see more King Ezekiel and Carol moments and don't be surprised if Carol returns to the Kingdom by the episode and re-unites with Daryl. At the same time, Rick will be dealing with the new, mysterious group that has captured his group. Not only will he try and keep his group safe, but he will most likely try and team up with "Group X" to trust them and make an alliance with them to fight the Saviors.
