According to Deadline, this is only the beginning for the DC's digital service, as it's also expected to offer a more immersive fan experience than other OTT services, including comics and other TV series. And that will all begin with Titans and Young Justice: Outsiders.

Titans Go!

The TV series will be written by Akiva Goldsman, DC Entertainment President and Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and the king of the CW's Greg Berlanti. The series will center around:

"A group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others."

The series was initially planned to air on TNT, and was in the works for quite some time before it eventually fell through. Moreover, the subsequent announcement of a Nightwing film in the seemingly put an end to all hopes that we would ever see a Titans series. However, it seems like managed to make things work out after all and will air the show on their new service.

Joining Titans will be the highly-anticipated revival of Cartoon Network series Young Justice. The revival will be titled Young Justice: Outsiders and will see:

"[T]he teenage superheroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of superpowers, super villains and super secrets. In the new season, the team faces its greatest challenge as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy..."

Back when it was announced that we would be getting a third season of the cult classic animated series, we had originally speculated that it might be arriving on Netflix. But the fact that Warner Bros. saved it for DC's digital service suggests that they have big things planned for the third season.

DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. are set to kick things off in a big way when their digital service debuts in 2018. Both the Young Justice series and the proposed Titans project have gathered a large following over the past few years and it will be amazing to finally see them both get the justice they deserve.
