It looks like 's haunted house horror, Crimson Peak, has just nabbed its latest victim. Sons of Anarchy star is down to star in an as-of-yet unannounced role. He'll be appearing beside the automatic hit-maker, , in del Toro's latest attempt to traumatize audiences.

It seems that del Doro will be going back to basics in order to achieve this. Crimson Tide is being sold as a classic ghost story which makes use of 'modern conventions'. Quite what that means, I'm not sure. But, with del Toro at the helm I'm sure it will be something special (and horrific). The master director has delivered some great horrors in his time, although the scariest thing about him might be the amount of projects he's taking on at the moment. According to our pages, he is in some way involved with over 11 other films. With that in mind, do not expect Crimson Peak to arrive anytime soon. We're currently estimating it will be given a 2015 release, but for now, [[follow]] Crimson Peak to get all the news once it arrives.

Nonetheless, you will be able to see Hunnam on the big screen in the not too distant future. He is due to appear in another del Toro project — the massive-robot-vs-massive-alien-athon, Pacific Rim. We can expect this awesome looking sci-fi flick to rocket-punch its way into theaters on July 13th.

Are you pleased to see del Toro return to horror, and which of his upcoming projects are you most excited about? Let us know below!
