How did the popular 1964 Disney movie Mary Poppins come to be? I have no idea why I'm interested, but I am. If you are too, then you may be intrigued to know that in the upcoming John Lee Hancock-directed movie, which charts Walt Disney's struggle to make Mary Poppins spring to life, we'll be getting some definitive answers.

Take a look at these 3 new featurettes for Saving Mr. Banks, which include interviews of some of the cast and some footage from the movie:

Of course, the biopic probably won't show Walt's warts. In real life, he smoked three packs of cigs a day and cursed like a sailor. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to this one - if only for Hanks' and Thompson's performances. What about you?

Saving Mr. Banks will be waltzing into theaters on December 20, 2013.
