Now, of all the beloved comic book figures from 's back catalog of rogues, sorcerers and mysterious otherworldly entities from dimensions beyond the ken of human consciousness, there are few more perfectly designed for cinematic adaptation than Dr. Jericho Drumm, a.k.a. , the man formerly known as Brother Voodoo. He has, after all, been both the comic book Sorcerer Supreme, and a member of The Avengers, as well as a longtime ally of Strange himself.

What's more, with his brother Daniel having appeared in (and sadly not survived) 's Doctor Strange, Doctor Voodoo may well have a path into the already laid out for him. Indeed:

That, at least, is what the latest comments from Doctor Strange's would seem to suggest, with the director recently confirming on Twitter that the character is very much in his plans, answering the following question... more or less the most positive fashion possible, short of an official casting announcement:

And so, it would seem that fans of Doctor Voodoo might just have a whole lot to celebrate — or, at least, have a far better chance of seeing the hero on the big screen in the near future than previously seemed to be the case.
