Excitement levels for the untitled 2018 Han Solo Star Wars movie have officially been kicked up to lightspeed! Today Disney and Lucasfilm confirmed that Donald Glover will be stepping into Billy Dee Williams' blue cape after being cast as a young Lando Calrissian in the film.
The announcement was made via the official Star Wars twitter page along with a picture of the handsome 33-year-old Atlanta actor.
Fans have long speculated Glover's about involvement in the Star Wars franchise after rumors swirled of his name taking the top spot on the shortlist. But it's nice to finally know with absolute certainty that he'll be piloting the Millennium Falcon — before he loses it to Han in a game of sabacc, that is.
