There I was thinking BuzzFeed only existed to clog up my Facebook news feed and annoy me with endless number-based GIF lists about what it's like to live in [insert your hometown here]. It seems they've recently moved onto movie marketing as they were selected to debut a new DreamWorks short film, Almost Home.

Home is an upcoming Dreamwork's animation based on the book, The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex. To drum up hype for the movie, the studio has released a short four minute movie showing off some of the characters. Check it out below:

Need more information? Well, here's Buzzfeed's synopsis:

The intergalactic adventure revolves around an overly optimistic (yet inept) alien race called the Boov, who invade Earth in an attempt to escape their mortal enemy, hoping to make this hiding spot their new home. But one resourceful girl named Tip () escapes the Boov’s relocation efforts and teams up with a banished Boov named Oh () to save the race after he accidentally clues the bad guys into the Boov’s whereabouts.

Home lands in theaters on November 26th, 2014.

What do you think? Has this short got you in the mood for the whole thing? Give us your opinion below.
