Enjoyable as it is to watch a bunch of bearded homophobes kill birds, the Ratings Gods have spoken: #DuckDynasty will have its last season in 2017 before it's cancelled. EW reports:
"The series will air through Jan. 18 with one small break, followed by seven final episodes that will air between March 1 and April 12. By the time production wraps, the show — one of the biggest hits in the history of cable — will have made 130 episodes."
Here is Phil Robertson being mildly amusing in a remix of his consistently Luddite comments.

Fun fact: Duck Dynasty head Phil Robertson once gave a speech saying that gay people are "full of murder, envy, strife, hatred... they are heartless, they are faithless, they are senseless, they are ruthless. They invent ways of doing evil." I'm not sure how he knows about all of that envious, ruthless murdering that I do every day — I hid the bodies so well.
Duck Dynasty ducks off April 12, 2017.
