has definitely reached the top. In the past year alone, his films have grossed a staggering $1.1 billion worldwide. And he's not done yet. 2014 will see his return in both Furious 7 and 's Hercules: The Thracian War. While it's safe to say we're all excited for F&F7, it'll be nice to have Johnson having a franchise of his own without an ensemble cast.

Until then, we've been getting a steady stream of twitpics from Johnson that typically show his backside, his loin cloth, and an impending battle. Today is no different as we just saw that Johnson tweeted this on Friday:

If loin clothes are optional, why is he wearing one? Maybe it gives him special powers, like a modern day interpretation of Samson set in ancient Greece. Even though the director of this project generally makes my skin crawl (He destroyed the X-Men in X3, his homophobic slurs are generally annoying, etc, etc), I am excited to see what Hercules has been up to after his twelve labors.

Let me know how you feel about the project on Twitter

Hercules: The Thracian Wars hits theaters on July 25 of next year.
