1. B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations

After the release date was bumped from 2015 to sometime in 2017, we still have a while to wait before we hear Melissa McCarthy's distinctive voice emanating from newbie agent, Wyatt.

Also starring Seth Rogan as Jackson Moss and other comedy royalty such as Bill Murray and Rashida Jones, this Dreamworks animation flick seems sure to have the whole family cackling with ghostly glee.

2. Life of the Party

Directed by Melissa's husband, Ben Falcone, the plot details of Life of the Party are currently under wraps, some sources have suggested that it will follow the life of a middle-aged woman (McCarthy) who returns to college.

Also starring Maya Rudolph, Molly Gordon and Julie Bowen and co-written by McCarthy herself, hopefully this 2018 treat will deliver the usual bombastic comedy nuggets.

3. Can You Ever Forgive Me

Starring alongside a cast including Christian Navarro, Julie Ann Emery and Julie Ann Emery, Melissa McCarthy's upcoming comedy project will see her tackle a typically offbeat role that is based on a true story. The synopsis reads as follows:

When bestselling celebrity biographer, Lee Israel (Melissa McCarthy), is no longer able to get published because she has fallen out of step with current tastes, she turns her art form to deception, abetted by her loyal friend, Jack (Richard E. Grant)

4. Unnamed Fox Comedy Series (Unknown)

As well as her work in front of the camera, McCarthy is also expanding her portfolio as a producer by developing a family comedy for Fox alongside her husband Ben Falcone.

The half-hour long show will follow an unconventional family unit that is formed when a successful, driven man finds himself back in his estranged sister's life in a big way. As if resuming contact isn't stressful enough, he also ends up living under one roof with his sibling and her two children. Awkward!

Clothing Range

Before she pursued an acting career, McCarthy studied textiles at Southern Illinois University and wanted to become a fashion designer, so it's only natural that the star has developed her own clothing range.

In a response to the lack of fresh. stylish clothes for plus-sized women, McCarthy whipped up her clothing line, Seven7, and it has since won an plethora of positive reviews from larger ladies.
