Chris Pratt's latest movie is set to shoot into the box office stratosphere upon release. Passengers combines two great cinema favorites, space travel and sexy sexy love. The movie is set to hit screens in December and stars the Parks And Rec hunk alongside the gravitationally challenged Jennifer Lawrence. If you haven't seen the trailer yet, where the hell have you been? Watch the video below and swoon over Pratt's ridiculous good looks:

In anticipation of this must-see movie, let's have a look at everything we know about the film and exactly what we have to look forward to.

1. The Casting Is Out Of This World

We all know that the initial attraction to Passengers is the leading two stars, Pratt and Lawrence, but no cast is complete without supporting roles and boy does this movie have some of the best actors to work alongside the leads. Michael Sheen plays a robot butler called Arthur, because even in the far off future all butlers must be British and have old fashioned names.

The director, Morten Tyldum of Imitation Game fame, has also thrown in another Hollywood legend in the form of Laurence Fishburne who plays Gus Mancusco. Gus's job within the movie is still unknown, but knowing Laurence's reputation he'll probably be the ship's creator or another hugely authoritative part.

They say all good things happen in threes, so to top off this wonderful trio of supporting actors, we have Andy Garcia offering his gangster edge to the movie. His part in the spaceship epic is still unknown, but we like to think he could be the bad guy. You have to agree the cast is looking mighty fine and with such talent aboard one ship we're in for one hell of a ride.

2. The Plot Is Set To Have Many Twists And Turns

On a journey that is set to take 120 years, the Starship Avalon is carrying 5000 people to a distant planet called "Homestead Colony". Unfortunately Jim Preston (Chris Pratt) and Aurora Dunn (Jennifer Lawrence) find themselves 'accidentally' woken up 90 years too early. The two discover each other within the ship and begin to fall in love while they figure out what they are going to do onboard the ship. The trailer has already hinted at Pratt's character having a dark secret built upon the fact he knows why the two have been woken. Is there a sinister conspiracy at work? We'll have to wait and see.

3. Passengers Is Going To Be Sexy AF

Jennifer Lawrence worked with the Hollywood Reporter in a group interview with some of the biggest female faces in the business. The ladies — including Cate Blanchett, Charlotte Rampling, Helen Mirren and Kate Winslet — all confessed secrets they've learned while working in film. Lawrence talked candidly about her sex scenes with the sexy Chris Pratt and just how nervous she was:

We can't imagine Jennifer being nervous about anything as she's so readily outspoken and confident, which leads us to think the sex scene must be full on raunch. Yippee! The Hunger Games lead also confessed to relying on a touch of dutch courage to get the necessary shots:

"I got really, really drunk. But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, "What have I done? I don't know." And he was married. And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach. And I knew it was my job, but I couldn't tell my stomach that. So I called my mom, and I was like, "Will you just tell me it's OK?" It was just very vulnerable. And you don't know what's too much. You want to do it real, you want everything to be real, but then … That was the most vulnerable I've ever been."

If JLaw's reactions to filming are anything to go by this movie is definitely NSFW and with the two leads looking like they do we're sure it's going to be so hot it gives your crotch a headache. I sincerely hope they really went for it as everyone knows that in space, no one can hear you scream (wink, wink).

4. The Budget Was Huge And The Gender Pay Gap Has Been Reversed.

It's no surprise that a movie that relies on CGI so heavily would require a mammoth budget. The movie has been estimated to cost over $120million, think of what you could buy with an amount like that! In addition, Passengers has seemingly reversed the gender pay gap with reports stating that Jennifer Lawrence received $20million for her role, where-as Chris Pratt received $12million. I wouldn't sneer at either of those pay checks, but it's very uncommon for the female to receive more than the male star. Are times a changing in the Hollywood hills?

We are super hyped for Passengers to come out, but if all this information hasn't convinced you then just read what Chris Pratt had to say about the movie when he talked to Entertainment Weekly:

“I just thought if this movie gets made with the two of us, with this story and with this director and we can execute this well, I really think it’s going to be one of the greatest, most original and compelling epic movies I’ve seen…maybe ever!”

Confident words there, Chris. We'll have to wait until December 21st to judge for ourselves.
