Sometimes, on our search for engaging stuff that you guys might find interesting, we stumble across a real gem. Today's gem is something very special, a short film written and directed by Aristomenis Tsirbas of the Gnomon Studios wing of the Gnomon School Of Visual Effects. It's called Exoids and depicts a post-apocalyptic future where the only living thing appears to be a tactile slug-man named Gus Nitros. Gus lives in a world populated by killer robots who look and act suspiciously like animals we're familiar with. That's if said animals were gigantic and wanted to kill you with their robot teeth. Gus runs afoul of several of these 'Exoids' in the below video but don't just check it out for the story.

Exoids features some stunning animation by members of Gnomon and it's a credit to their skill that you'll want to rewatch the short as soon as it finishes. Don't just take my word for it though, check it out.
