It's official: expert Gary Heron has diagnosed with telogen effluvium! To mere mortals like you and me, this condition is better known as 'hair loss'. Heron, who works at The Hair Centre in London's Westminster, said:

It appears Kristen has telogen effluvium. This means the growth of hair is interrupted prematurely and the growth cycle isn't as it should be.

Her hair is very thin and the loss looks extensive. Kristen is far too young for this not to be have caused by stress. To remedy the situation, Kristen needs to change her lifestyle.

That's a lot of words. Here's a picture, I hear they can tell a thousand of those things:

But is the real cure to be found in the heart rather than the hair follicle? A source told Now magazine that the stress that is ravaging Kristen's locks all leads back to her continuing hearbreak over :

Kristen's circle are so concerned about her that two of her friends have flown to Germany to see her. They've also begged Rob to visit her on set. They fear the stress is getting worse because she's been trying to make contact with him and he's ignoring all of her calls.

Kristen's had a bumpy ride with romance, but there's nothing that will cure a broken heart except choosing to carry on with your life. Let's hope that Kristen can find adequate distraction by throwing herself into her new movie, Clouds of Sils Maria, which she is currently shooting in Berlin with co-star .
