Wonder Woman is doing wonderful things at the box office. Gal Gadot has been winning hearts with her portrayal of Amazonian Diana Prince, and her The Fast and the Furious filmic family couldn't be more proud.
The #FastandtheFurious is one of the biggest movie franchises in the world right now, with eight movies in 16 years, two more in the pipeline, and a total of $5.126 billion at the box office. Vin Diesel has said endlessly that the cast and crew involved in the making of the movies are a family, and Gadot has been a part of that family, having appeared in three cinematic installments. To that end, Diesel, Dwayne #TheRock Johnson and the rest of the Fast and the Furious gang have all taken to social media to show their love for Gadot and Wonder Woman.
La Familia Share The Love
#VinDiesel posted a picture of himself alongside Gadot on Instagram, letting her know how proud he was of Wonder Woman's incredible record-breaking weekend.
The Rock also took to Twitter to share his happiness for his homegirl Gadot after Wonder Woman's success. And with The Rock cast as Black Adam in the DC Extended Universe, we could very well see the both of them together again in a future #JusticeLeague movie.
James Wan, who directed Gadot in Furious 7, is helming another #DCEU project in the form of #Aquaman, which is currently filming. He took to Twitter to reveal that the Aquaman production rented an entire theater so that the cast and crew could enjoy Wonder Woman, singing the praises of director Patty Jenkins and Gadot:
Not to be left out, Tyrese Gibson also showed his love for Gadot on Instagram. Tyrese, who has been campaigning to play Green Lantern for a long time now, could once again spark a team-up between himself and Gadot, should his Emerald Crusader wishes come true. To be fair, it would be truly amazing to see these two play off against each other as two iconic superheroes in a Justice League movie.
Luke Evans, who appeared as the villain in Fast & Furious 6, also spoke of his admiration for Gadot and her portrayal of Wonder Woman.
Although there was no direct mention of Gadot, Michelle Rodriguez shared her enthusiasm for Wonder Woman's success and what it truly means for the majority of our population.
Wonder Woman is breaking box office records left, right and center, and is well on its way to surpassing the $1.229 billion earned by The Fate of the Furious.
