Fans of the Fast and Furious franchise better be bracing themselves, because we're just days away from the official trailer drop for the upcoming eighth installment, Fast 8.
After a filming schedule while took the cast and crew to several different locations including America, Cuba and Iceland, #Fast8 is now in post-production and we're drifting closer and closer to that April 14 release date.
But if that seems much too far away, then fear not because we're just says away from the release of the official Fast 8 trailer, and the crew have just released a two minute announcement video filled with footage from previous films, the upcoming film and behind-the-scenes goodies to get us pumped. Take a look:
Oh shit, any one else feeling a little emotional? I mean we had Dom, Brian and Mia along with baby Jack:
Then it talked all about the Fast family:
Before reminding us about all the amazing worldwide destinations the franchise has introduced audiences to:
And thanking the millions of fans worldwide who keep demanding new films, year after year:
But not only does the teaser totally pump us up for the film, it also gives us a little insight into what the plot might be — particularly involving the villain of the movie, Charlize Theron's Cipher a.k.a an adversary that shows "no mercy."

But while we know Cipher is the Big Bad of the film, the teaser trailer also seems hint in one quick scene that Dom (Vin Diesel) and Cipher might be in league together.
The pair seem to look down menacingly on a wounded Letty who lies among the debris on the ground, confused by what she's seeing. Could this mean that Dom has for some reason turned against Letty and the gang? Is Dom now a bad guy?
Obviously we only got to see a split second of what is likely a long scene with a complicated backstory — not to mention that trailers often use misdirection to trick audience members — but for now this new piece of footage has all Fast and Furious fans hoping to see it expanded on in the full length trailer released on December 11.
Fast 8 will be released in theaters on April 14, 2017 and the full length trailer will be released on December 11.
