It's the end of an era, folks. Love it or hate it, Fifty Shades of Grey has become a worldwide phenomenon, capturing the hearts and imagination of its dedicated fanbase for the past two years. But as the saying goes, nothing lasts forever and Christian and Ana's complicated love story is about to come to and end with Fifty Shades Freed.

The trilogy's highly-anticipated closing chapter won't hit theaters until Valentine's Day 2018, but fortunately for us eager creatures, we have a new, extended teaser to hold us over for the time being. It's full of sex, violence, love, action — and a ton of Christian's abs — so check it out:

Oh my God, I cannot believe it's finally happening! Pardon my excitement, but it's just too difficult to keep it bottled up while watching Christian recite his wedding vows to Ana in voiceover. The wedding may be the central event of the film, but Ana and Christian's story isn't quite ready for happily ever after. There are still challenges to overcome, vicious bad guys to beat, and marriage woes to work out. Also, I hope I'm not the only one who got giddy by the new tagline for the film, "Mrs. Grey Will See You Now," because that's just too good.

If you're an ultra-fan of this franchise like me, then you'll be happy to know this isn't the only Fifty Shades-themed gift we got on Sunday. The film's official Twitter account also released a full look at Anastasia Steele's wedding dress and, as you might expect, it's quite beautiful. Take a look:

The Trailer Was Just Too Much For Fans To Handle

The franchise has a massive legion of followers that couldn't wait to get their first look at the film. As such, it's perhaps unsurprising that this trailer felt like an early Christmas gift for them (including yours truly). Tons of people took to social media to share their overwhelming excitement for the film.

It's funny to look back on the franchise and see how much things have changed. As a huge fan of this story, this new trailer was honestly a bittersweet experience because it marks end of Ana and Christian's love story, even though they're starting a new chapter in their steamy romance by getting married. Thankfully though, this looks to be a worthy final chapter.

Are you hungry for more? Don't worry, the last bit of the teaser promised a full-length trailer by November and we'll get to see Mr. and Mrs. Grey when Fifty Shades Freed hits theaters on February 14, 2018.
