Now, with just a few weeks until the movie hits on Valentine's Day weekend, a final trailer has been unleashed. The main difference this time around is that it's scored to Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift's kind of (but not really) sexy hit 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever,' but there are also a few new shots which tease some action placing Ana in a potentially fatal situation.

The last trailer suggested that Christian's psychotic ex Leila (Bella Heathcote) lurking creepily in shadows everywhere Ana goes may have only been a figment of her imagination, but this one makes clear that Leila is not only real, but also deranged, armed, and seriously pathetic. "Tell me what you have that I don't!", she sobs at Ana while brandishing a gun in the manner of somebody who's never even held a water pistol. How about charisma, a rich boyfriend, a decent haircut?
We also see a brief shot of a helicopter spiralling out of control, piloted by Christian with Ana in the passenger seat. Spoiler: There's a sequel. They ain't dead.
Darker adds Heathcote, Kim Basinger and Eric Johnson to the cast as a trio of sorry losers who are like, totally jealous about how sickeningly happy Ana and Christian are, and who should all probably just move on with their own lives so that Ana can continue attending drinks nights at galleries whose walls are plastered with soft-focus photographs of herself, undisturbed. Darker arrives on February 10, 2017.
Will you be seeing Darker, by choice or otherwise, in theaters next month?
