Our anticipation to see Katniss Everdeen battle the odds again on screen is ratcheting up, with The Hunger Games: Catching Fire due in theaters next month, revealing the next chapter of the post-apocalyptic trilogy.

Katniss Everdeen () has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow () prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever. Our first official TV spot for the film has been released, courtesy of the strangest of sources: Walmart's Facebook page.

So, maybe it's the fact they went with the boring choice of Coldplay to do the theme song for Catching Fire (particularly after the Taylor Swift/Civil War collaboration of "Safe and Sound" for The Hunger Games was so haunting), but I find this spot rather underwhelming. I don't hate Coldplay, but "Atlas" leeches the danger and tension of the story out of the footage and turns it into something downbeat and emo. So far, the marketing campaign for Catching Fire has been nothing short of amazing, but the PR department needs to step up its game for the next TV spot.
