It seems like only yesterday that we were getting excited for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and now the hype is starting to build for its sequel, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
Sources over at TheOneRing.net have discovered that the next trailer for 's trilogy could feature in the theatrical release of 's space thriller Gravity. The source's reasoning is that both movies are from Warner Bros and that Gravity is the last WB release prior to The Hobbit 2, hitting theaters on October 4th. They stated:
The new trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug will premiere at the very beginning of October. The trailer is labeled Trailer #3 (with #2 being an abridged version of Trailer #1). The release will most likely happen simultaneously throughout the world. However, not every country will get a dubbed version immediately; the Russian version, for example, will be first released in English with subtitles. The Trailer #3 is entirely new and not a re-edit of the previous trailer (although it shares some shots). The editing is finished; right now it is undergoing color correction and effects work.
So, it seems if you want to see the trailer first make sure you go an see Gravity. I mean, you should go and see it anyway because it looks absolutely incredible.
